[comp.windows.x] what was recent sound sample editor posting

I read a posting a couple of days ago about a sound sample editor for X
available via anonymous FTP, from Canada if I recall that part correctly.
I serviced an interrupt for a few hours, and the news article timed out.
Could someone drag up that article from the archives or otherwise
announce the ftp particulars again, please?
