[comp.windows.x] Removing close funtion from system menus

Hello,
        I am attempting to use the XmNmwmDecorations and XmNmwmFunctions
resources to remove functions from the system menu on a widow's frame, and 
to remove decorations on the frame, particuarily on some frame dialog 
widgets.  I have found the integer values in MwmUtil.h which are used as the
values of these resources, but my attempts to use them have produces no 
results, such as removing the "close" option from the system menu. I have tried 
to remove the close option from the system menu with (in .Xdefaults):
        Mwm*client*XmFormDialog.clientDecorations: -close

but it still appears. Anybody out there had success using these resources or 
removing the close funtion from the system menu on a window frame with Motif
1.1 ?
