Advanced Software Engineering Technologies (ASET) of Pittsburgh, PA,
has announced its intent to deliver a Serpent(tm) compatible UIMS
during the fourth quarter of 1991.  

The ASET UIMS will fully support the Serpent API and dialogue 
specification language (Slang) and will initially be available
for Sun SparcStation platforms running OSF Motif and X11R4.
ASET plans to provide subsequent versions that support the 
development of OpenLook user interfaces and to expand support
to other Unix Platforms.

This value-added, commercial version contains all of the 
functionality in Serpent V1.0 plus the following:

	1.	Enhanced compile-time and run-time
		error-handling and reporting
	2.	Complete Motif 1.1 support
	3.	Upgraded and fully Motif compliant editor
	4.	Improved documentation
	5.	One year free technical support


We are currently looking for a limited number of beta test sites
to work with the commercial version of the system.  If you are
