Has anybody out there tried to work with the packages CLUE and CLIO (MIT X11 distribution, they implement user interface tools for CommonLisp programs on top of CLX) and Lucid Lisp 4.0 (I'm working on a DECstation 2100)? That's what I've been doing for the last week and I've run into enough problems that it makes me wonder whether others have tried it and succeeded or given up. So far the problems I have encountered have included: - different assumptions about package structure and exports - different assumptions about what standard CL functions (e.g. "functionp") return - missing lines of code in CLUE sources - the examples provided with the packages don't run (because of problems like) the above or even load If somebody has gotten things to run smoothly, would you be willing to try to provide a bit of assistance?
