I am running ultrix 4.1 and have the X11 stuff installed. However, we are having a problem with xterm ( and most x applications running on the DEC 5500 under ultrix 4.1 ) displaying on a Sun running generic X11R4 ( MIT ). X Error of failed request: BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation) Major opcode of failed request: 2 (X_ChangeWindowAttributes) Minor opcode of failed request: 0 Resource id in failed request: 0xe00017 Serial number of failed request: 54 Current serial number in output stream: 55 I also get errors when I move the window around: Xlib: sequence lost (0x10035 > 0x35) in reply type 0x16! Xlib: sequence lost (0x10039 > 0x3b) in reply type 0x9! Xlib: sequence lost (0x1003f > 0x41) in reply type 0x9! Xlib: sequence lost (0x10045 > 0x4a) in reply type 0x9! Xlib: sequence lost (0x10050 > 0x50) in reply type 0x7! Xlib: sequence lost (0x10051 > 0x56) in reply type 0x9! Xlib: sequence lost (0x10057 > 0x59) in reply type 0x9! Xlib: sequence lost (0x1005d > 0x5f) in reply type 0x9! Xlib: sequence lost (0x10066 > 0x66) in reply type 0xa! xterm: fatal IO error 32 (Broken pipe) or KillClient on X server "132.158.82.30:0.0" These errors appear on the dec from which I started execution of the xterm.
