[comp.windows.x] Problems with keypress events under DECWindows

  I'm in the process of converting a large VWS/UIS based graphics application
  to DECWindows. At the moment I'm trying to get the keyboard stuff to work
  correctly. Unfortunately when I run my application it always comes up in
  numeric keypad mode. This means I can't distinguish between the keypad and
  the other numeric keys on the keyboard. I'm using XLookUpString and
  XKeysymToString to convert keypress events to ascii.
 
  I thought of using SMG$SET_KEYPAD_MODE but I obviously don't know the virtual
  keyboard identifier which X is using (if it is for that matter :-) ). Anyone
  else had to do this?
 
  BTW, setup: VAXstation 3100, VMS5.4-1, DECWindows.
