[net.news] Apology regarding a Pyramid employee

csg@pyramid.UUCP (Carl S. Gutekunst) (06/22/86)

I'd like to apologize to the net for Stuart Cracraft, a Pyramid employee at
our Los Angeles field office who's been making hash of the net. As a regular
flamer of net.general-dinette-for-sale-in-New-Jersey postings, I was appalled
and embarrassed to see Stuart's request for a copy of mod.map in net.general,
demonstrations of his own inability to read the rn man page in net.misc, and
pro-Pyramid propaganda in net.unix. And if Chuqui ever saw what he's doing in
net.philosophy, the entire Bay Area would be leveled by the blast. :-(

After repeated abuse (from the net) and requests, pleading, and threats (from
me) Stuart has been permanently barred from the Usenet. Those articles that
were deemed inappropriate by Pyramid System Administration were cancelled.

I did my best, but it appears that wasn't good enough. Again, I'm sorry.

Amazing!

Waiting for the reaction to this,
