[comp.os.minix] book price increase from PH

I was called by the local book store today. They informed me the
cost of the book has gone up from ~$25 to ~$40. This is a radical
jump. I was ordering two but decided to cancel half the order.

I don't know where you got the $25 price. They have been listed at $38
and change since the book was announced. Not too surprising when you
realize they now want $25 for the paperback K&R C book.

I ordered my copy at Waldenbooks, and was quoted a $25 price as well. I saw
it in their listing of new books, which is shared by nearly all the bookstores
I frequent.
