First, I would like to apologize to the network for the posting of this message to this newsgroup. I wouldn't normally do so, but I lost the address to 'Metzger' and need to communicate with him. Please accept my apologies. Metzger, this network is all too often filled with messages from people that talk (or write as the case might be) without thinking. It appears that you are one of those people. Perhaps next time you would collect your facts before wasting my time, and that of all the machines responsible for routing messages between your site and here. It is difficult to convey to Prentice-Hall rudeness through the mail, especially when the only communication was a check and the card from the back of the book. My only oral communication with them was when I called them recently, and unlike you, I never assume the person at the other end is a fool or an idiot. I am never rude to an unknown person, unless provoked. My advice to you is never, never open your mouth or write a letter unless you are well aware of the facts. It is better to be thought a fool than to be known a fool. Chuck Wegrzyn, not an employee of Codex
