Is anyone getting anywhere with the comport drivers ?? The problem with Xmodem is that what is transmitted at your end, is not what is received at the other end -- a few nasty control-Zs or nulls are added on. Also, last I saw, zmodem and its ilk ate your filenames (turned them into Mess-Dos filenames, i.e. all uppercase, 8 characters then a "." then a three-character extension). Kermit has none of those character flaws, and its batch-transmission facilities are better documented and more widely available (heck, I can send and recieve multiple files even here on my lowly Commodore 128 with Kermit, while a zmodem implementation would be worthless because CBM DOS allows 18 character filenames -- ANY characters, EVEN SPACES). * Airwick * -- Eric Green elg%usl.CSNET Hacker-in-training, University of SW Louisiana {cbosgd,ihnp4}!killer!elg Snail Mail P.O.
