References: Sender: MINIX runs perfectly well on my IMC XT. The IMC is an obscure Taiwanese IBM XT clone without much imagination. It has none of those VLSI chips that one finds in most modern clones. It does have an 8 MHz clock though and I have replaced the Intel 8088 processor with a NEC V20 (the 8 MHz version of course). Other than that it has 2 360 KB disk-drives controlled by a standard Taiwanese floppy-disk contoller, a Multi I/O card with a battery backed-up clock/calender and a Hercules-compatible video controller. The main memory is 640 KB. Have fun, B.J. Beugel (beugel@klipper.cs.vu.nl) P.S.: This is my first posting to the world. I hope everything went right. Please let me know if I did anything wrong.
