and it runs great. This machine is 6/10Mhz switchable and runs fine at either speed. It has a 30Mb seagate hard disk on it with an AT compatable controller. The disk seems to work fine although I did have one episode were the disk driver put out endless messages I couldn't read. I have successfully modified MINIX to run the root partition off the hard disk. As it turns out I used (basically) the same changes mensioned in a previous posting. However, I prefered to have a 0K ram disk and use the extra 240K for processes. I have partitioned the HD into four partitions. Three are for the MINIX boot, root and usr partitions. I am still booting off floppies however. Dave Bilitch ARPA: dhb%bek-mc@csvax.caltech.edu UUCP: dhb@bek-mc.uucp, seismo!cit-vax!bek-mc!dhb
