If I get a shar archive from, say, net.sources and try to unpack it under MINIX, /bin/sh complains: "Out of string space". Has anyone else seen this problem? Does /bin/sh do something stupid like try to store ALL of the redirected input in memory? Or are there styles of shar'ing that plain don't work? +----------------+ Jim Paradis linus--+ +--+-------------+ | Encore Computer Corp. necntc--| | | E N C O R E | | 257 Cedar Hill St. ihnp4--+-encore!paradis | +-------------+--+ Marlboro MA 01752 decvax--| +----------------+ (617) 460-0500 talcott--+ You don't honestly think ENCORE is responsible for this??!!
