No this isn't a patch for RLL...
Rather, is anyone working on a patch for RLL (or by some fluke of the
imagination - does it work as-is)? I'm planning to get a RLL drive soon and
I want to know if it'll hold MINIX (it may determine whether I get the drive).
Also - Is anyone undertaking the task of getting a MINIX 'patch' up and
running. It's a pain to move the files to an DOS disk, U/L, patch, D/L and
convert back to MINIX format just to install a patch. I'm not complaining -
I'm glad people are writing patches - I just wish I could install them from
MINIX. Is patch proprietory software? It would be a shame to have to re-
invent the wheel.

Re RLL: I am to receive my (Western Digital, I believe) [2,7] RLL controller sometime next week. I said, "I believe" because the mailorder shop it was ordered from told me it was WD. No matter what it is, I'll post the changes (if any required) for xt_wini.c (with all previous fixes intact) as soon as the hacking is done. Wish me luck. (I hope it's really an Adaptec...)
