Recompiling on an AT. How do I set up the disks ? Well, guys, this may seem like a real simple question, but I'm spending a lot of time I don't have on fighting with some trivial things. I guess I should say first, I don't have a copy of the book yet (I use my roommates, she's got a class using it.), but I looked and it doesn't seem to have what I need. I have the version of MINIX provided for a PC (640K I think), and I need to know the best way to copy them onto disks, so that I can recompile the system. I can't get MINIX to talk to my HD (I assume all I have to do is include the appropriate wini.c and recompile), but in order to do this, can someone give me a pointer via mail as to which files (cc, /bin /lib /include etc, ) to put on which disks ? I assume, I will be making a 1.2 Meg floppy for each of MM, FS, KERNEL, and the other one. It is just a real pain trying to copy to memory a little bit at a time, and I want to make sure I do it right.
