Two questions about the MINIX 'cc' command: 1) What does the undocumented '-O' flag do? According to cc.c, it sends an additional command line argument '-p4' to /usr/lib/cg. Wnat exactly, if anything, is cg doing with it and what effect does it have on the resulting code? 2) As distributed, 'cc' does not pass a copy of the -Tdir argument along to 'asld'. Is this desirable behavior and, if so, why? In my experience, it caused problems when trying to compile a large program with a relatively full ramdisk (since asld alwys wanted to use /tmp). -- Name: John Ruschmeyer US Mail: Monmouth College, W.
