Thanks to the postings of various individuals to comp.os.minix I now have MINIX 1.1 up on my IBM PC/AT hard disk. I have two partitions one for MINIX (/dev/hd1) and one for PC/DOS. My root file system has been migrated to /dev/hd1 and I now boot off of "BOOT DISK" and "=" directly to my root file system on hard disk. If anyone wants tips on how to do this please send me e-mail and I'll try to help out as much as I can. One thing I have not been able to get to work is fsck off of the boot diskette for /dev/hd1. fsck works fine off of floopy. Does anyone have suggetstions for getting fsck to check my hard disk file system? My configuration is IBM PC/AT, 640K RAM, 30MByte hard disk (732 cyls., 1-150 is MINIX, 151-731 is PC/DOS, 0 is bootblock). Thanks in advance, Brian P. O'Halloran boh@cullvax
