About a week ago I subscribed to this list. At the same time I posted a couple of questions on which I have not read any reactions. Therefore I give it another try. For some time I own an Apricot FP not IBM compatible MS-DOS micro. Since I am interested in the MINIX operating system, I would like to try to adapt MINIX for my machine. I would like to know if anyone else has already tried to implement MINIX on any Apricot computer. Are there any implementations on not IBM compatible machines. My Apricot can be fitted with 1 Mb. of RAM of which 832 Kb is free to be used. It has one 3.5 inch Sony diskette-drive. I/O addresses and hard- & soft interupt vectors differ from IBM pc's. Can anyone give me a hint if there is any chance of succeed in adapting MINIX, or will I be spilling my time even trying. Thanks for reading this, Waling Tiersma NIJMEGEN Netherlands
