I just got minix 1.2 sunday and i think i trashed my /root and /usr disks. The system came up the first time, and i logged in just fine. Then i made the backup disks as the manual says (cp /dev/fd0 /dev/fd1). When i tried to remount the usr, minix could not read the file system. Brought the system down, booted the boot disk and fsck the /root and /usr, fsck said there was a problem with the Superblock on the /root and could not read /usr at all. My system is an Everex 1800 (80286 10Mz) w/640k memory, fd0 is a 1.2M and fd1 is a 360k. Is there some one in the bay area that can help me get my /root and /usr master disks rebuild? Or do i have to send them back?
