I've noticed a lot of people posting news articles asking to subscribe to the Minix mailing list. I am a recipient of the Info-Minix mailings, but that is because I don't have access to news. The mailings on this list consist of the very same articles that appear in network news. Unless there are some articles unique to the mailing list (so far I haven't seen any), those of you reading the news group have no need to be on the mailing list. You're not missing anything -- except 2 copies of everything posted. :-) Just as a point of information, to subscribe to the list I'm on (should you desire to do so), send your e-mail address to: info-minix-request@louie.udel.edu Please don't post your request; there's no point in making thousands of readers who can't process your subscription read it. There. Now we can get back to discussing relevant issues, like PDP-11 memory management. :-> -Frank
