Greetings!
In a course in Operating Systems, the students are going to fiddle
with the MINIX file system running on a UNIX machine. Our VAX:es
are labouring hard, so I thought, why not use our SUNs?
What we have is the MINIX source on 9-track tape, including some
C files that makes it possible to run fs on VAX:es.
Problem Description: Some of the files needed to build lib.a that is
needed to build fs are written in VAX-assembler.
I am not (and have not found anyone local) familiar with this,
nor with 68000 assembler (!).
Therefore I now ask if there is anyone out there that already has
fixed this, in order to be able to run the MINIX fs atop UNIX on SUNs.
Pointers, etc. welcome. (...and, of course, source) :-)
