[net.news.group] proposed new structure for `fa' gro

notes@ndm20 (10/26/85)

Here is what happens to these names on my system. I am a SysV
machine running notes. All groups with the same truncated name are
in the same notes file. The notesfile thinks its name is the first
of these to hit my system. Notes is a significant portion of the
news community, as is Sys V. This can't be a rare occurance.

Gee, thanks. I get all mod.computers.* in one group and all
mod.protocols.* in another. This is easier?
