As a total beginner to Minix who has the 1.1 disks (don't know why -- when I bought them v1.2 had been out quite a while, but cie la vive) I am now looking to upgrade to v1.3. I see 2 paths: the 1.1 --> 1.3 diffs recently posted as being available, and the longer 1.1 --> 1.2 --> 1.3 route, using the 1.2 diffs still available on CompuServe and the 1.3 diffs here. Question: I see that there have been 2 releases of the 1.3 diffs (and it looks like the same thing happened for the 1.2 diffs). Is it necessary to apply BOTH sets, or does the later set have *everything* that is needed? I haven't been able to tell if the second release(s) are replacements or suppliments to the first releases. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.
