[comp.os.minix] need help to get into Minix world

Hi, everyone,

I would like to run Minix on my XT clone(brand unknown).  Currently I
don't have a hard disk.  But I'm going to purchase one shortly.  
It seems that the road leading to minix is particularly winding.  
So can anyone recommend,
	. a reliable hard disk for a XT clone
	. how to get the latest version of minix and utilities people
	  have contributed(I understand I can buy the book and disks 
	  from Prentice-Hall, but the disks are not version 1.3)
	. other things to watch out for
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
