The cdiffs are MUCH to big. The context is not necessary because many people don't look at the diff's. People with own fixes should have official versions too. I'am missing on each update informations about improved thing, e.g. which bugs are corrected. It is also important to tell about such traps how the renaming putc -> fputc. To have amoeba and rcp and rsh, is it necessary to have a only-for-amoeba-server on the remote machine (sun with ethernet)? I don't understand how to get the name of the port, which must be specified with rsh (chap. 8.1 in network.doc). Is a sherver on the sun required when using ethernet?? Robert Regn (rtregn@faui44.uucp)
