I am posting this for a friend who just booted up Minix 1.1 on his XT-clone and had it pound his hard disk so hard that the checkdisk program he ran later informed him he had approximately 1 megabyte worth of bad sectors Fortunately, it got better 8-) Is there anyone here in AUSTRALIA who can point me at / mail to me, the diffs between 1.1 and 1.3. I am pretty sure they were posted to comp.os.minix a while back, but at the time, I didn't have a need to pick them up. Now I do 8-( Oh, and on the subject of bugs, he mentioned that he gets a message which sez something like 'winchester task recieved message from task = -1'. Any clues, Netland?
