I was just about to send off 1.3 to P-H, when a second report trickled in about bootblok.s not working. If there are enough machines around that can't boot using the 1.3 bootblok, I'm in real trouble. Those folks won't have the 1.2 version to fall back on, and it will be a real disaster. I would greatly appreciate it if lots of people would try building a system (even 1.2) with the new bootblok.s, and sending me mail FAST about (1) which system you built (1.2 or 1.3x) (2) what machine you have (3) what kind of disk drive you have (360K, 720K, 1.2M) (4) whether it worked or not. I promised P-H 1.3 on Oct 1. I'm late, which means they are going to be late, which means lots of folks are going to be angry, etc. etc., so I'd appreciate help quickly. Thanks. Andy Tanenbaum
