While compiling the 1.3c library modules to begin the upgrade, I got the following error message when compiling message.c : "initialization of unions not allowed" It seems the sole purpose of this routine is to fill the message union M with nulls 0 and that this is only "required by some compilers". Can I safely leave this routine out of the library and if not, what's the fix. I am using the 1.1 compiler. thanks, Mike Dobson (kyy@nihcudec.BITNET)
