I have a Blue Chip PC (XT clone) with the Blue chip epson compat. printer. I get the error 'paper out' when I try to print to it. Has anybody solved this problem??? If not, how do the various #defines correlate to the pins on the parallel port and to the parallel io address? (i.e. #define NORMAL_STATUS 0x90, ...) Thanks. It is not clear from your posting which version of MINIX you have. If it is 1.3, arrggh. I had hoped this was solved. If it is still in 1.3 and anybody can figure out what is going on, please post your findings. Andy Tanenbaum (ast@cs.vu.nl)
