From: mo at LBL-UNIX (Mike O'Dell [system]) Date: 26 May 1982 10:58:31-PDT Which version of the interface?? There at least two versions with some of the bits in different places. We have a BV on a VAX and NONE of the interfaces have ever done DMA correctly. I believe Berkeley has the old style interface, but reliable reports indicate it was one of the prime reasons for the unibus reset code going into the device drivers. -Mike

Date: 26 May 1982 13:21 EDT The University of Michigan has a Benson/Varian working on 4.1. Try calling Mike Stolarchuk @ (313) 763-6474. Apparently he has done some work making it reliable. I think the driver uses multiplexed files (what ever they are) which are buggy. Henk
