Well, my system has finally matured a little, I just got MINIX 1.3c up and running on my new Zeos 286/12. No z151 for me anymore, my wife inherits it for her writting. There wasn't much to the port. The most I had to do was hard code my drive parameters in to at_wini.c. I had to do this because the drive type/para- meters stored in the BIOS non-volital ram were wrong and there was no entry for my drive types. I will never go back to my XT. This is one fast machine (at least compared to my old machine :-). It's nice to see kermit zip instead of stumble along as it did on my XT, even at 2400 baud. If anyone is interested in the diffs and notes on the port just send me mail. I seem to remember someone out there saying there were looking for a AT clone to use MINIX on. I would strongly suggest the Zeos 286. Get- ting MINIX running on it was a breeze. Freeman P.
