I've not been reading this newsgroup for about 8 or 9 months so I'm
way behind. Please respond by email.
I have Minix 1.1 and upgraded to 1.2 with patches quite a while back.
I'm interested in four things:
(1) Where can I find patches to upgrade to 1.3.
(2) Are there patches and such for compiling Minix with TurboC?
I've seen mention of this before so I'd at least like some hints
on what needs to be done to get it to work. I don't want to
reinvent the wheel.
(3) What needs to be done to get Minix to run on my 386? It just
locks up with no helpful message. I have a patch for vidcopy()
that was supposed to fix a problem with the 386 but I haven't
tried it yet.
(4) Is there a 'clearing house' via ftp for minix archives?
