I'm upgrading my Minix 1.1 to 1.2, but being the power-foolish super-user that I am, I deleted my at_wini.c by accident. I've already posted a request for someone to email me a copy of their at_wini.c, but alas, no one has responded. Surely, there must be SOMEONE out there who their at_wini.c from Minix 1.1. Please, please, please, please, please email me an unadulterated version of at_wini.c for Minix 1.1. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Jason Coughlin BITNET: jk0@clutx ARPA : jk0@clutx.clarkson.edu "If at first you don't succeed, cut and paste, cut and paste, ..." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thank you. > Someone sent me an at_wini.c this morning. Thank you, and sorry about posting this. One question, my Minix doesn't seem to be able to be reading my tar files correctly (the upgrade tar files). The tar file isn't corrucpted when I get it from bugs because I uploaded tar.c to my Unix 4.2BSD account and it reads the file fine. However, after downloading to MS-DOS (which is quite a process let me tell you!) the file seems to be corrupted. Minix won't dosread the entire thing, so I split them up and cat them back together but they are corrupted when I cat them together. This has been driving me crazy so I've been un-taring them on my Unix account and downloading the upgrades (60+ files). There has be a better way. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I'm using ASCII ftp and then using kermit to download to MS-DOS. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jason Coughlin BITNET: jk0@clutx ARPA : jk0@clutx.clarkson.edu "If at first you don't succeed, cut and paste, cut and paste, ..."
