   Yes there are. We have an AST 386 machine and it runs on ours. You definitely   need more than MINIX 1.1 though. We had problems with the floppy driver - DMA   generating non maskable interrupt(s) which would put it into an infinite
   loop. The 386 produces the return address of exceptions pointing back at
   the faulty instruction which can make for infinite loops in early versions
   of MINIX. Peter Kay posted some diffs which fixed up the floppy disk <->
   DMA problems. After that it mostly runs fine except for some problems
   which hang the kernel and I think are to do with the different exception
   return addresses on 386.
