OK, question on upgrading from Minix 1.1 - 1.2. I've gotten all of the files from bugs. I even worked the .tar file correctly this time. Now the only problems I have: (A) I'm using patch on diff.patch, but I keep getting the message "No more room on RAM disk" (or something like that). Then patch asks for the name of the file to apply to, I type the name, and I get that message again. This time patch goes off into never-never land. I tried dumping the strings from patch to see if there was an option for writing temp files to another directory, but I couldn't make hide nor hair. Does anyone have a man page for patch? Did anyone have this problem and solve it?? (B) I noticed that there exists: cc, cpp, etc... in /pub/Minix/bin. Is this the "new" compiler for Minix 1.2? Also, I'm not exactly sure what to do with my libc.a and the new libsrc.a. Could someone explain it to me? And once again, what is the correct order of the files for libc.a after the new routines have been placed in there? Would it be easier for someone to upload their lib.c from Minix 1.2 and email it to me? I would appreciate it. (uuencode it or something). Thanks in advance!!!
