Has anyone attempted (and/or succeeded) to port MINIX to an Altos Multibus 8086 CPU? I just inherited one of these, which comes with Altos XENIX-86, and MINIX would be very nice on it. The XENIX does not include a C Compiler. The whole system seems to be vintage 1983, or thereabouts. It is of course a slightly different system architecture, but a similar CPU to the IBM PC. -- Wolf N.
