Hi. I've been running Minix-ST on a Mega 4 for a little over a month now. I haven't really done anything serious with it yet. Lately I've seen references to bug fixes for Minix-ST and a driver for the RS-232 port on comp.os.minix. Unfortunately for over a month the machine I read news on (dasys1) has been down. I am now receiving the minix mail list at work. Is it possible for someone to e-mail me source code for any bug fixes/improvements you have? If not, can you point me toward someone who is collecting these things? I know there is someone doing this for Minix-PC but I don't think he is doing anything for the Atari version. I haven't been able to reach nosc!minix-server from here. Could someone point me to a better UUCP path? What other drivers are there? I have a Seagate ST-4096 (80MB) hard drive with an Adaptec 4000A controller board and the ICD host adapter. Has anyone had any luck getting this to work? I've formatted my drive several times trying to get the "best" setup. Sometimes Minix will recognize a partition and sometimes it won't. I think it may be the problem with partition sizes >16MB mentioned before by others. I saw the posting about the buffer tables and I'll try that next. E-mail responses to me and I'll post a summary if it's wanted. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
