As a reminder to the less-alert or less well-connected, minix-server@bugs.nosc.mil went off the air months ago, with no definite plans for reinstatement. Anonymous FTP to bugs is still available. The likely cause of several people's difficulties with the version upgrade kits is lack of the "diff.patch" file, containing upgrade diffs for small changes. If the person supplying you a kit did not include "diff.patch" or something similar, get back to him. It is on bugs. If someone emails me the v1.2 compiler support routines not found in the v1.1 libc.a, they will be quickly added to the archive. If I have to upload it from home, the wait will be noticeable, as I've had little time lately.
