[This probably trivial, but anyway...] If anybody has got sick of mined*, I've got mg 2a (formerly MicroGNUEmacs) up and running under ST-Minix, if anybody wants the system-specific files... (Sometime last week, after a day working with Tempus, Xedit, vi, edt, GNU- Emacs and mined, my brain came to a screeching halt and I couldn't remember which editor I was using, so one of them had to go...) -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- UUCP: ...mcvax!cernvax!forty2!poole Simon Poole BITNET: K538915@CZHRZU1A ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

AARGH! The amount of mail I'm getting about this article, leads to this clarification: Editor Machine Tempus Atari-ST (TOS) Xedit IBM 3081 (VM/CMS) vi Codata ??? (running a 1983 version of UN*X, looks very much like Minix :-)) edt microVAX II (VMS) GNUEmacs Alliant FX/8 (~BSD4.2) mined Atari-ST (Minix) OK, everybody understood that I don't have edt etc. running on my ST? (Anyway: there is something called stedt that's a modified microEmacs version that does a try at emulating edt on the ST, an alternative is a TSR that was written at the PSI, which elmuates the edt-keypad with Tempus) -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- UUCP: ...mcvax!cernvax!forty2!poole Simon Poole BITNET: K538915@CZHRZU1A ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
