[comp.os.minix] porting minix to PS/2

I have a friend who has a PS/2 model 50 and wants to port minix to it.  Our
instructor said that it is not possible (at least for the time being) because
of IBM's use of the Microchannel bus etc.  Has someone got a foolproof patch
for this?  Please only suggestions that you have tried and works.
