P-H recently told me that it should be around the first week of March.

But then again, Prentice-Hall are not noted for punctuality, are they ?? :-)

About the middle of December I phoned P-H (in Hemel Hemptead) to place an
order for Minix-ST, paid by credit card. I asked about delivery times and
the girl said, "No problem, it's in stock, maybe ten days". I found out
later that another guy here had ordered it at about the same time. Anyway,
Christmas and New Year both came and went, no Minix-ST... About a week
ago the other guy phoned P-H to find out what had happened to our orders
and he was told that they'd had an order from Germany for 200 copies, so
it was out of stock, and to wait another ten days... P-H said that the
German order had been placed about a week prior to this call, which would
have been first or second week in January...

I have to ask myself, if P-H had any in stock at all (let alone 200), why
did they not send one to me ?? I find it very difficult to believe that
they had a delivery of 200 on or just after the day the German order went
in...

Having said that, I must also say that when I ordered the PC version, I was
told it was out of stock and would be about 8 weeks delivery time. It was
actually delivered in about ten days...

I guess the moral of the story is: If you want something real bad, make sure
it's out of stock before ordering it... :-)

How about full 1.3 disk sets? Also first week in March? or available
