[comp.os.minix] MGR on minix a minor retraction

ggm@brolga.cc.uq.oz (George Michaelson) (02/02/89)

Having started to unpack and actually look at the release, the README's
make it plain that the author has very carefully hand-coded the bitblts
and so I would like to withdraw any remarks which implied the code had
any dependency on suntools.

This sounds like a GREAT idea, but is the 80286 going to be fast
enough for this kind of thing? What kind of memory requirements are we
talking about for MGR and how much memory can Minix address? (or is this
for Atari and Amiga only?)
