My BTL UNIX 3.0 cron man page says that the crontab day-of-week field for Sunday is 0; the 4BSD cron man page says it's 7. I tried 7 on my 4.1BSD system and nothing happened. Will 0 work? I don't want to wait another week to see if my weekly filesave script doesn't execute. The cron code was too cryptic for me to figure this out at a glance. The 4BSD man page on cron is in error; days are numbered 0-6. I sent a bug report to Berkeley about this about a year ago. Steve Zimmerman
