Does anyone know how the `sector count register' of the Atari DMA hardware works? I am familiar with the 1772 FDC, and I know it doesn't count sectors. Does the DMA hardware just stop doing DMA after 512 bytes times the sector count have gone by? -Gary Mills- -University of Manitoba- -Winnipeg-
