Below is a list of the problems I have found with applying the recently posted MINIX upgrades. I have a 4 meg ST1040, floppy, Syquest 5 meg removable winchester, and a 80 meg CDC Wren II winchester utilizing a Supra interface. 1. Use of the new stfloppy (with any/none options) causes "Write failed code 22" and "Unrecoverable disk error on device 2/0, block n" with any program that attempts to write to floppy, but all reads seem to be fine. Replacing stfloppy with original seems to fix problems. 2. Every attempt to run "~%xmodem -rb filename" or any xmodem attempt) under CU always causes a panic (different panic messages given). 3. Using TOS pgm to write to hard disk shows no errors, but when file is accessed under tos the corruption alert box is displayed. 4. Compiling TOFILE yielded undefined for _fdopen & _strtol Ken Lightbody Analysts International Corporation (Chicago) usenet: ...{hcfeams,homebru,vfrot}!aicchi!karl GEnie: KLIGHTBODY voice: (312) 576-6298 -- Ken Lightbody Analysts International Corporation (Chicago) usenet: ...{hcfeams,homebru,vfrot}!aicchi!karl GEnie: KLIGHTBODY voice: (312) 576-6298
