Anyone for the 68HC11?? It's got built-in serial port, even some static RAM to play with... and interrupts! Holy cow but does it have interrupts! Or why not break open that keyboard you got there??? Expose that EPROM to some of the old U-V and reprogram it with Minix!! Oh but that screamin' 8749, woo-ee, it's a WILD thing... No seriously, I think the 6809 sounds righteous-- it -does- have position-independent code; it's almost an 8088! The others? I gave up playing with Legos when I was six and a half, I think.
