I accidentally got MINIX 1.2 instead of 1.3. I called up Prentice Hall Inc. (A Division of Simon and Schuster Inc.) and explained that this was not what I had sent my money for. The operator said they'll send me a 1.3 and a mailer for free return of the 1.2. I didn't have to argue. No fighting. Why don't the others face with this mess do the same? Can't hurt to call, unless you live out on the West cost, in which case, the phone call, which requires 15 min. of "All operators are busy now..." can get expensive.
