[net.unix-wizards] Anyone have up driver that does bad sector forwarding?

Have you a version of the 4.1 up driver that handles bad sector forwarding?
We're purchasing winchesters which are not available with error-free packs,
and would greatly appreciate hearing from you if you've installed the
code in the driver.
