I have a question. . .. We have a dlp-11 from Datasystems Inc. to interface to our Printronix lineprinter. While trying to gen UNIX, I found that somehow that board was interrupting the boot process before autoconfig (we run 4.1bsd on a VAX) could set up the handler. It went into a very tight interupt loop on the uba. We replaced the board with a Datasystems dlp11 revision E board. This board has a switch on it labled 'UNIX'. When set, the boot goes just fine. When not set autoconfig says something like: lp0 did not interrupt. The old board will hang the boot no matter what state the lineprinter is in. (The old board is revision 1.) Does anyone out there know about datasystems dlp-11 emulators? What does the UNIX switch do? Is there a way to fix the old board to do what the new board does? (Alas, we cannot keep the revision E board, it was borrowed.) send mail to, ...duke!mcnc!jcz Carl Zeigler, NSCU, Raleigh, NC
