I'm sorry if this has been posted to the wrong newsgroup but... I thought I'd try clam on an ICL DRS300 (386-based system running ATT UNIX SystemV/386 Release 3.1). PROBLEM: 1. I cant build it. 2.At present, lack of user IQ to fix it. I've set the flags in makefile to Generic SysV machine. No other changes. In make, compiling builtin1.c generates a warning "line 480: inconsistent redeclaration of external file". Then when compiling clex.c there is an error "line 40: unknown size". This is 'struct tchars setsigc;'. It also complains about the line containing S_IFLNK (symbolic links). I am told that there are no symbolic links in Sys5 so I cut it out using #ifndef ATT. I havent tried it on this machine (VAX running Ultrix). The reason for trying it on the DRS is that it HASNT GOT A C-SHELL. Daft but true. (The DRS is the target system). Thanks in Advance for any help... .....Ian King -- Ian King <ianking@tcom.stc.co.uk> or <...mcvax!ukc!stc!ianking> ADVANCE MICRO COMPUTERS...you know it makes sense! :-) JANET: ianking%stc@uk.ac.ukc
